A Little About Me
As a Operational Controller of a mid-size oil & gas company with interests in over 4500 wells, I managed and oversaw all operational accounting functions, including monthly reporting, quarterly analysis, accruals and account reconciliations. Additionally, I set into place numerous process improvements to incorporate industry best practices which I had obtained during my experience as a software implementer.
Prior to managing the operational accounting team, I spent 10 years working directly with the BOLO Software, where I trained clients, performed quality assurance testing on new functionality, had direct involvement in converting data and implemented modules in all functional areas including: Revenue, Joint Interest Billing, Financial Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Production, 1099 processing, Division of Interest and Unclaimed Property. Having worked with over 50 different oil and gas companies of all sizes and operational complexity, I gained extensive knowledge on best practices, and insights as to common issues these companies face, and how to rectify those challenges.
